New build home in a generous plot with stunning views over the firth of Forth, required a family friendly & low maintenance garden. Sand-dunes form the boundaries, bringing the landscape seamlessly into the garden. The lawn is maximised for ball games, an external kitchen and bar has been designed for entertaining, and a raised deck with feature dry stone boulder walling catches the last of the evening sun.
Planting scheme
Native grasses, Ammophila arenaria and Molinia carerulea, form the anchor planting to hardy perennials such as sea holly, ox-eye daisies, erigerons, sea thrift and sun roses. New trees include Whitebeam, Rowan and ornamental Pear.
