My clients commissioned a design and lighting plan for their back garden to create an attractive retreat to be a great family and entertaining space. Sympathetic level changes were needed to soften the impact of the height change from house threshold to ground level.

Sandstone paving and timber planting retainers give simplicity of line with the retainers and boundary walling painted in a charcoal colour to unify the space and set off the planting scheme, which is anchored by ornamental grasses and topiary box balls.

Festoon lighting with Edison bulbs, stone effect globes and LED tape lighting under the lip of sandstone edging, all create a warm effect to enjoy the garden in the evenings.
